TOPIC: DELIVERANCE FOR OUR NATION

BIBLE READING:

Jeremiah 29:5-7

MEDITATION:

According to Ralph Mahoney, when saints arise in the power of God's might and put on the whole armour of God to launch an offensive of spiritual warfare against these ruling spirits, these spiritual “mayors” and governors and “dictators” are cast off thrones with the result that revival follows.

We must war, we must pray, we must assail these strongholds till they fall! To pray a while and quit praying doesn't work. We must pray until they are broken and then we will see a 'dividing of the spoils”. The experiences of Christ in Gethsemane and on the cross foreshadow the methods by which we conquer as He sweat great drops of blood in soul travail. John 12:31 established our victory by saying “How shall the prince of this world be cast out” and the same was confirmed by Apostle Paul in Col. 2:15. “…having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle

of them, triumphing over them in it”

If we do not fail or faint in our travail for our nation, we shall soon deliver her finally from all evil, visible and invisible. It is our responsibility as good citizens to lift-up our nation into the hands of God for His divine hand to rest upon us and restore her glory.
