*𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼 𝕊ℂℝ𝕀ℙ𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔼:* Deuteronomy 19:15-21

*Proverbs 19:9 -* ```"A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish."```

𝕄𝕆𝕋𝕀𝕍𝔸𝕋𝕀𝕆ℕ𝔸𝕃 ℚ𝕌𝕆𝕋𝔼𝕊:

*Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbour.*

ℙℝ𝕆ℙℍ𝔼𝕋𝕀ℂ 𝕎𝕆ℝ𝔻 𝔽𝕆ℝ 𝕋𝕆𝔻𝔸𝕐:

𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗕𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗡𝗘𝗗, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦.

*𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔸𝔾𝔼:*

The sin of bearing false witness against one's neighbour is great in God's presence. Anything that cannot be proven, anything that is not genuine and anything that is not true should not be said or written down and used falsely against anyone. To bear false witness is to accuse someone wrongly. It means giving untrue testimonies about someone in order to damage their reputation. The scripture warns against false witnessing. For example, Exodus 23:1: "Thou shalt not raise a false report; put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness." Proverbs 24:28: "Be not a witness against thy neighbor without cause; and deceive not with thy lips." Whenever a person bears faise witness he is aligning himself with satan, who is spoken of in John 8:44 as "a liar, and the father of it." We need to be careful.

It is quite unfortunate that a lot of innocent souls have been sent to their early graves because of false witnessing. And a lot of others are serving jail terms for sins they know nothing about. Some of the victims are often helpless and defenseless people. But be sure that their blood will cry for vengeance like that of Naboth in 1 Kings 21:1-19. The Lord of Sabaoth is the God of vengeance. It is even more saddening for so- called believers to bear false witness against fellow believers in a bid to bring them down at all cost. Some do it to obtain cheap favour or get church positions. Beloved, if you have to bring someone down to attain it, then it is not worth it.

Many people are now faced with challenges, problems, incurable sicknesses and diseases today and are wondering where they came from. They go before God in prayers, but their prayers are not answered because they have made false witnesses against their fellow human beings once upon a time in their lives This wicked act will never go unpunished either sooner or later.

Beloved, you may need to take a close look at your life. What you going through now that has defied solutions may have been caused by this sin. You may need to swallow your pride and prayerfully carry out a restitution before you can be truly free. May God help us to live right, in name of Jesus.

1. Father please forgive me of any sin of false witnessing I may have done in time past, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, show me the root of my problem, in the name of Jesus.

3. Bitterness in my heart, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

*𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆*

4. Conspiracy to bring me down by false witnessing, scatter to desolation, in the name of Jesus.

5. Anyone hired to witness against me to damage my good name, receive angelic slap, in the name of Jesus.

6. I refuse to bear evil reports, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God, arise and purify me, in the name of Jesus.
