He was accused of betraying the trust that his employer had in him. He was to be sentenced to jail for three years.      However, he wept and pleaded with the Judge to consider his three little, helpless children and be merciful to him. He promised that he would pay the stolen money back. The Judge had mercy on him and decided to set the guilty man free.     God is merciful. He forgives sinners, not because they merit it, but because He is a merciful and loving God. The Lord does not only show mercy but He blesses children as well, if they truly repent.
