THEME:  WONDERS OF A CHRISTIAN LIFE.   MEMORISE:  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 READ:  1 John 3:1-3. 1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. MESSAGE: The Christian life is so full of wonders that one of the earliest apostles marveled at the manner of love God showered on us, making us His children (1 John 3:1). Every genuine Christian has experienced the wonder of being adopted into the family of God as we see in Romans 8:15. When we consi...

TOPIC: DEMANDS OF A CHRISTIAN LIFE MEMORISE: “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruits; so shall ye be my disciples.” - (John 15:8) READ: Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; 20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. MESSAGE: There are a lot of blessings accrued to genuine Christian living, but these do not come without some obligations on the part of the Christian. For example, the peace of God that passes all understanding is one of the benefits of Christian living, just like divine healing or divine health, according to Deuteronomy 7:15 and (1 Peter 2:24) . However, we must meet certain demands before we can access these blessings. One of such demands is fruit bearing. The lifestyle of a genuine Christian must show that the fellow has truly repented and forsaken...

TOPIC: MYSTERIES OF A CHRISTIAN LIFE MEMORISE: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” - (2 Corinthians 5:17) READ: John 1:11-12 (KJV) 11. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name; MESSAGE: The first mystery of a Christian life has to do with the newness of everything when a person gives his or her life to Jesus Christ. In our Bible reading today we saw that God gives a sinful man the grace to become one of His children. With the power of God being available to every believer, many new things happen to the fellow. One, the believer’s name automatically changes. For example, the Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that while the recompense of sin is death, the gift of God is eternal life for anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and ...

TOPIC: THE SOURCE OF LIVING WATER MEMORISE: “...If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.” - (John 4:10) READ: John 4:7-10 (KJV) 7. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water; Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9. Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. MESSAGE: Water is named and classified primarily based on its source. For example, saltwater is from the sea, rainwater is from the sky, hard water...

DAILY MANNA TUESDAY, JANUARY 25, 2022 NO QUICK FIX TEXT: Exodus 5:15-23 KEY VERSE: “For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.” - (Exodus 5:23) Challenges of life often breed severe pain and discomfort. As a result, we tend to desire a quick fix from the Lord, that He would waste no time in giving us a solution. But God does not work by man’s timetable; nor does He always answer when we desire it most. Moses did not quite understand this in the early part of his ministry. In obedience to God, he had gone to Pharaoh to demand that he should let Israel go and worship the Lord. Instead of granting their request, Pharaoh strengthened the severity of the people’s working condition. Whereas, in the past he provided straw with which they made bricks, now they were to source for their own straw, even as he refused to reduce the quantity of bricks they were to produce daily. He felt the Israelites had ...

LIVING WATER CAC DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE Tuesday, January 25, 2022 STOP LISTENING TO FALSE PROPHECIES Read: Jeremiah 29:8,9 Jeremiah 29:8-9  For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. MEMORISE: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out to the world (1 John 4:1) EXPOSITION Jeremiah told the people of his days (the exile bound people of God): 'For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets and your diviners who are in your midst deceive you, nor listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them, says the Lord' (Jer. 29:8-9). Many false prophecies had gone among t...

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL 2022 DATE: TUESDAY, JANUARY 25TH, 2022 TOPIC: LET THERE BE LIGHT IX MEMORISE: “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” - (Isaiah 6:8) READ: Isaiah 6:1-8 (KJV) 1. In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2. Above it stood the seraphims; each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory. 4. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6. Then flew one of the seraph...

Foursquare Grace for Living Daily Devotion  Monday January 24, 2022 TOPIC: RESIST THE DEVIL BIBLE READING: 1 PETER 5:8-11, JAMES 4:7-10 MEDITATION: As a believer in Christ, you are created with a glorious destiny to live a victorious life in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. The key to victory is to submit to God; then can we you resist the devil and fight against him. You resist by standing against his attacks and refusing to give in to his suggestions. This is only possible in the power of the Holy Spirit as you draw closer to God, and in meaningful and consistent fellowship with Him and fellow believers. Paul urges believers to engage in spiritual warfare by being strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might, and by putting on the whole armour of God (Eph. 6:10, 11) Instead of turning away from God when you're tempted, and lured to go your own way, choose to move toward God. Call upon Him for help, availing yourself of His strength. This should be your ...

DAILY MANNA MONDAY, JANUARY 24, 2022 THE PAIN OF UNREQUITED LOVE TEXT: Isaiah 5:1-7 KEY VERSE: “What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?” - (Isaiah 5:4) An author, Iva-Marie Palmer, acknowledged the reality of unrequited love when she wrote, “Love may have the longest arms, but it can still fall short of an embrace.” Yes, your outstretched arms of love are sometimes greeted with indifference, ingratitude or even hostility. Such negative treatment often inflicts pain in the heart of the love-giver. If you have ever been a recipient of such cold treatment, you will be in a position to appreciate, to some extent, how God felt in His dealings with the backslidden Israelites. God regarded Israel as His vineyard. He pampered them with loving-kindness and favour. They were separated from other nations for His glory and as an object of His peculiar care. God granted...
