SOWING AND REAPING

BIBLE TEXT: GALATIANS 6:7-10

MEMORY VERSE: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (GALATIANS 6:7).

Scientists all over the world advised that planting more trees in our countries will help to absorb tons of carbon in the atmosphere that causes global warming which the world is experiencing today. If you sow by planting trees, your action will affect the earth positively. Every farmer understands the principle of sowing and reaping (Galatians 6:7). Life is about sowing, but what kind of seed do you sow? The Word of God is the seed you need because it is incorruptible. When you have the Word of God in you, you will not harvest corruption. When you make spiritual investment by depositing the Word of God in your heart, you will harvest life everlasting. 

If you receive the good seed and take in other bad seeds like immorality, stealing, lesbianism, homosexuality, drunkenness, drug addiction, pornography, malice, and mistreatment of others like - your school mates, friends and family members, the bad seeds will choke the good seeds and will never produce good fruits. That is why you can only reap exactly what you sow. You cannot reap carrots when you sow cucumbers.

PRAYER: Help me to sow good seeds, Oh God.
