TOPIC: SUFFICIENT GRACE
TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 12:7-10
Key Verse: "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Serving the Lord is the best thing we can do with our time, our resources and our lives. As God's children, freed and purchased by the blood of Christ, the only begotten Son of God, we ought to realize that our lives are given to us to serve God. We are here on earth for His will, purpose and pleasure.
However, the Christian journey is full of challenges and troubles that can make us weary. The reality is that, Christians are not free from the challenges of life. It may come in the form of sickness, delay in getting something, academic failure or when our basic needs are not met. Like Paul, we must rejoice and leave everything in the hands of God.
When you are feeling tired and discouraged, read and meditate on the word of God and allow it to encourage and strengthen you. Reject any evil suggestion to quit serving God. Pray for God to give you strength and more grace to continue. Remember, His grace is sufficient for you.
Prayer: Oh Lord, give me the grace to continue to serve You, no matter the challenges on my way.
