TOPIC: ACTION FOR BLESSINGS

TEXT: GENESIS 22:16 -19

Key Verse: "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies " (Genesis 22:17)

      Everyone carries out one action or the other at a given time. There is no healthy person that is inactive. Billions of actions are therefore carried out by billions of humans on the surface of the earth daily. But the question is,how many of these actions are of real benefit to those involved and to those around them? How many of these actions attracts divine approval and divine blessing?

      Abraham's action is worthy of note. That single act of obedience brought God's blessing and approval on him personally. It also brought immeasurable favour to his children and descendants. Every actions has eternal consequences, but it's not every action that will bring eternal blessings. 

    Unfortunately, many actions will lead to eternal rebuke and judgement. Sometimes you do not give your actions a second thought. Let your actions count before God for blessing and not for rebuke.

     Watch every action you take and let it be in obedience to God's word. You will be blessed on earth and in heaven above.

Prayer:I pray that my actions will be in obedience to Your word and bring Your blessings on me.
